5 Simple Steps to Manifest Anything with The Law of Attraction

Much has been said about The Law of Attraction and if you google this topic, it becomes very clear that it really does work.  HOWEVER, the disclaimer to this is that it only works when all the steps are followed (and performed) correctly. 

There are a number of people who claim to follow the steps but they fail to receive what they have asked for.  This often leads to them believing that The Law of Attraction is rubbish and it doesn’t actually work!

Fortunately, there are MILLIONS of people who have used the Law of Attraction and have achieved incredible results.  So, why does it work for some people and not for others? Well, it comes down to one thing:

Letting go!

So how do we let go and “allow” our desire to come to us?  What do we need to do to actually receive what we so clearly desire, yet do not have? Letting go is the NUMBER ONE reason WHY it doesn’t work.  It is incredibly important to DETACH ourselves from the outcome and ALLOW for it to come to us.

Quite often we will state our desire and attach the feelings of ‘having it now’ and ‘how we will feel’ when we have our desire but then we worry about WHEN is it going to happen and HOW is it going to happen etc?  What this is stating to the universe is that you actually don’t believe that you will receive what you have asked for and so you are causing resistance. 

RESISTANCE pushes away your request.  The universe hears ‘I don’t believe I will receive my desire’ and so it obeys – this results in you NOT receiving your desire!?!

I often like to reference the Universe as a restaurant.  I see myself walking into a restaurant, sitting down and looking at the menu.  A waiter comes over and takes my order.  I request the item I would like and the waiter takes my order to the kitchen.  The universe is out the back (in the kitchen) preparing my order.  I cannot see how it is being prepared or how things are being put together but I have the confidence to know that what I have ordered has been taken to the kitchen and is being prepared for me.  I know that I have to give the kitchen (Universe) some time to prepare my order and once it is ready, the waiter will deliver my order to me.

Now, I wouldn’t be checking with the waiter every 5 minutes to see if the kitchen (universe) had received my order.  I would have FAITH that the waiter had delivered my order and I didn’t have to worry about receiving it once it was ready.  If I continued to harass my waiter, asking “Is my order ready? When will my order be ready? Are you sure you took my order correctly? Why is my order taking so long?’ I know that my constant harassment would result in me being kicked out of the restaurant, HENCE me not receiving my order!!

That is basically how it works when it comes to the Law of Attraction.  Its very important to be clear on what you want, having faith that the universe knows what you want and then feeling relaxed that it will be delivered once the time is right.

One of the hardest things is learning to ‘detach’ from the outcome (basically having faith that it will be delivered).  There are a number of ways to do this.  Using Affirmations are really helpful. Here is how to use them. 

Saying things like:

  • I’m no longer going to view this as huge.  It’s going to be as easy as I expect it to be. I give up. It’s handled.  Thank you for taking good care of this for me.  I can’t wait to see how this actually plays out.

Then proceed to EXPECT that it is being handled with ease rather than struggle and do your very best to focus upon other positive things in your life and things that you enjoy.  Just remember that your ‘order’ has been taken by the Universe and it is currently in the ‘kitchen’ being prepared exactly the way you have ordered it.

It’s important to only focus on the end result, or the desire, in as much detail as you like but it’s important to feel good whilst doing this.

It’s amazing how quickly things can begin to improve when we change our minds.

So, what steps should you follow in order to manifest what you want?

Here are the 5 Simple Steps:

1) Become very clear about what you DO want – be Specific.  The more detailed you are, the better the result. For example: If you ask for a bottle of perfume, you may receive a perfume but it may be one that you do not like.  But if you ask for ‘Chanel No 5’, this lets the universe know EXACTLY what you want and therefore you will receive a perfume you like. 

*Handy Tip* – Use a journal, dedicated purely to the Law of Attraction, and write down EXACTLY what you would like. Try to use as much detail as possible.  This helps with becoming VERY clear in what you are actually asking for.  It is better to physically write your request, instead of typing it as it allows you to ‘feel’ more during the process and this helps your vibration.

2) Raise your internal vibration – through removing doubts and fears, so you are a vibrational match for your desire.  Using Affirmations are really helpful with this step. Here’s how to do this

3) Visualization – Being able to visualize something in exact detail, does wonder for the power of manifestation.  See yourself receiving this but also use your five senses.  For example: If you asked for a new car, visualize yourself sitting in the car.  FEEL the leather underneath your fingers as you grip the steering wheel, SMELL the ‘new car smell’ as you sit in your new car, HEAR the roar of the engine as you start the engine, SEE all the details on the car (the beautiful paint, the stitched seats, the dashboard etc) and TASTE the coffee you purchased whilst going through the drive-through in your new car.

4) Gratitude – this is one of the most important elements in this process.  Being grateful for what you already have is SO important.  The more you are grateful for, the more the universe will want to give you more.  If you don’t appreciate the things you already have, you won’t be able to manifest better things for yourself.  Even if you don’t have the things that you want, you can be grateful for the food that you have or the warm bed you have to sleep in or the amazing friend that you have.  Everyone has something to be grateful for.  The more you appreciate what you already have, the more things the universe will give to you.

5) Allow your desire to come to you – this is about ‘allowing’ and ‘detachment’ (as explained above).

My Story:

When I was made redundant from my job, I wasn’t expecting it, and so I felt really panicked about finding a new job straight away as I had a mountain of bills to pay.  I applied for hundreds of jobs and I barely received any interviews.  I had three in total and each time I was the second choice. 

To say that I was feeling really depressed and desperate was an understatement.  The harder I tried (and worried), the fewer opportunities appeared.  After looking for work for 4 months, I finally decided that I would give up on looking for a job and just enjoy my time at home. There were a number of things I had been putting off for ages, like sorting out my wardrobe, painting my lounge room, etc. that I hadn’t had time to do in the past so I figured that I had plenty of time now. 

Once I made this decision, I received a call from an old work colleague the NEXT day and he was asking how I was going?  I hadn’t heard from him in over 8 months so he had no idea that I had been made redundant so when I informed him, he mentioned that his boss was looking for someone with my skill set.  He set up the interview and it was the easiest interview I have ever been to.  I was offered the position on the spot.  The pay was more and the hours were better!?! 

I honestly couldn’t believe it.  I never expected to work with him or this company and it seemed to come out of ‘nowhere’ (although I know it was the universe at play).

This really confirmed to me that once I ‘gave up’ and ‘allowed’ the universe to work its magic, it delivered.  I basically just had to get out of its way.
